Take a few minutes today to be cognizant of the small blessings around you. Breathe deeply!
Did you notice the glimmering full moon last night? I can’t resist being outside and in awe of a beautiful night. The dogs walked with me and seemed particularly happy. During our walk in the country, I smelled FALL. The mix of corn and soybean harvest took me right back to my childhood on the farm.
Houses have their own smells. The smell of pipe tobacco brings my Grandpa’s face to life. Have you ever disappointed someone when they realized you were burning a sugar cookie-scented candle!? Have you ever backed quickly out of a teenager’s room due to the smell? Okay, so not all scents bring back pleasurable memories.
Be brave and take that deep breath. It’s free! As I finish my lunch, I am picking up on the slight scent of rain. A rainy afternoon with a pot of coffee…and maybe some popcorn!
Enjoy the little things today.
I love your writing! I have missed it, you need to write more often.

Thanks! It may take some time for me to get rolling…as I don’t know what I’m doing, but I thought I might enjoy it. If someone else enjoys it, too – that will be AWESOME!
I really enjoyed your posts! Keep it up! You are a great writer!
Thanks Becky! You’ve been a great encourager!
