- I believe in working hard and taking time to smell the roses. It isn’t all or nothing. The challenge is balance.
- The other day I was the last to leave the office. I couldn’t find the keys to the Trailblazer. With my free hand, I searched my purse, my tote and even my lunch bag. I checked the vehicle. I couldn’t go back in the office, as the door locked behind me … I decided I should call someone with keys to let me in the office. I realized I was holding my keys in the hand my phone was in. Things like this happen all the time. It doesn’t worry me.
- I’m a piler-upper and a stacker. Not sure that I will ever be able to break myself of it. Maybe it is a sign of optimism? I am always thinking, “Someday I will have time to sort, file and/or make wonderful scrapbooks or very cool crafts.”
- Why is it hard to give ourselves permission to make mistakes? I was talking with a friend about that – and I told her to give herself permission to make mistakes. Pick yourself up. Dust yourself off. Repeat as necessary.
- If it isn’t terminal, don’t stress.
- Nothing says “Mama Bear” like wanting to protect your kids.
- Regarding #6, kids still need to be taught to work for rewards; they are not entitled to them.
- I love laughing really hard, laughing ’til I snort or the person I am laughing with snorts. Then, it sets you off all over again.
- Sometimes when I don’t want to go to work, I remember how much Gary liked his work and how badly he wanted to return to work … and my attitude changes. Just like that.
- When I’m struggling with a situation, I think of ways to make it sound humorous. Once I make it humorous, it doesn’t seem like such a struggle.
- I love books; therefore I love Amazon. What a world we live in! Search a subject or genre … books galore! Delivered to my door! O Happy Day! It makes me a little giddy.
- When something trivial is bothering me I like to remind myself “I can’t care!” from www.janiefoxtalks.blogspot.com .
- This is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad. Psalms 118:24. Note: It doesn’t say, “If it’s a good day, rejoice and be glad.”

I once lost my keys in my car WHILE I was sitting in my car. I’m glad to know I’m not alone in the whole losing-what-is-right-there thing!
It happens to the best of us!
I love every last one of these. I really love a good snorting laugh. Good times when liquids come out the nose!!
🙂 !!
Marla
This made my evening. Thank you so much. Especially # 9 !
Regina
I’m glad you enjoyed and that it was a good part of your evening. #9 is all about perspective.
I love laughing too. I think that’s why I’m so thrilled when my kids tell a funny joke.
It is fun to see your kids’ sense-of-humor develop!!!
Your posts always come at the exact right time with the exact message I need! Thank you … I need this today, more than you know! Hugs!
Awesome! I’m glad you were able to get something out of my ramblings. 🙂 Hugs to you, too.
