Hope springs!

I think that with Spring, always comes a little hope.  New life is popping up.  Tulips that I forgot I had planted are reaching for the sun.  Old trees are dusting themselves off and getting ready to get their bling on.

Speaking of old trees … I’m going to dust my muscles off and work outside this coming Saturday.  Hopefully.  If the weather cooperates.  Pig farmer and I have a lot to do.  I love our little 5 acres in the country. Even with its never-ending to-do list. I will need to take some “before” pictures and hopefully, we will see the transformation take place in the next few months. We want to work on landscaping, pasture, fencing… and a garden, I hope!

The hard part for me will be to focus on one task at a time.  I see so many issues needing my attention.  I will want to tackle them all in a day.  Pig farmer will have to tell me, repeatedly, to stick with one task.  Yet, he will want to know what I’m making for lunch and  I will tell him I can only focus on one thing at a time.  😉  Drive by if you need a laugh (or have cookies to share).

Life is what you make it. Always has been; always will be. ~ Grandma Moses

I’ll share a favorite picture of mine that I took one year from my front porch.  It has so much in it:  Reminders of the past – because without our past we would be hollow.  Promise of God’s love and blessings.  New life and beauty that is offered to us today.  I hope it shares a little hope with you.
