Catch-Up Tuesday

Three Thanksgiving dinners, plus one mini-family reunion dinner later …

I’m back to waddling around my little farm, farm-house and blog.

And stalling…

on my purging and cleaning spree

started yesterday.

Pictured below is my pregnant Gert.  I am betting she doesn’t make it to her due-date.

February 4th??? Seriously??

Posey smiles her approval of the new hay feeder.

Boer_Goat_Hay_FeederHorned goat-proof.

Supposedly designed to not allow them to get their heads/horns stuck.

We shall see.

Not much is goat-proof, in my opinion.

It should have come with a red bow on it…it’s probably my Christmas present.  😉

Oh, the adorable calf, you ask?

Her name is Pumpkin.  Pumpkin Pie, to be specific.

With that adorable white face the dollop of sweetness on top!

                                          Wait….is that stinkeye…from such sweetness??

Polled_Hereford_Calf

Definitely a tidge of sass showing!

Pig-farmer, you ask?

Traveling…and Bert is plotting to root his way out, I fear, while pig-farmer is away.

Berkshire_PigIt makes me (almost) grateful for the cold temperatures that are forecasted for later this week.

UGH!

Chase a pig or deal with cold and frozen conditions??

Behave, Bert.  Behave.  Or “No soup for you!”

That’s a Seinfeld throw-back.

I must return to purging and cleaning.

Now.

Sigh….

I’m thinking maybe the goats due date is off a little bit…or she has six in there! Great blog as always Marla!
