Of course I know the true meaning of Christmas.
There is just a heck of a lot of other stuff going on and that needs to be done prior to Christmas. It’s a fact. It’s reality.
So, I’m thankful for the 12 Days of Christmas.
They are actually after Christmas – not leading up to.
Epiphany, the 12th day after Christmas, celebrates the visit of the three kings or wise men to the Christ Child, signifying the extension of salvation to the Gentiles.
December 26:

What a lovely place you have to walk. Such a pretty tree in front of that painted sky. We’re unwinding from the holidays, trying to get over colds.
