Some fun photos taken in between (really) cold snaps:

Playing on a warm(er) day.

A little grooming of that tail. Look how hairy!

HAPPYness is a muzzle of hay.

Happiness is sunshine and friends.
I got to have lunch with a good friend yesterday. 🙂 Should have had someone take our picture…
Meanwhile, back at the barn:

Gerty is still growing those kids.

I had to browse my files to find a reminder that spring WILL come!
Keep the faith. Spring really is coming. At least that is what I keep repeating to myself as I listen to the winds howling like a fierce pack of wolves.

Gerty is really starting to carry a wide load 🙂 At least twins in there I would have to say.
And that calf is absolutely adorable.
Poor Gerty! Today I noticed her walk is a little ‘off’ – hopefully just from her heavy load! The calf is the belle of the ball at least until the baby goats arrive!
Oh my, Gerty looks like she is going to pop!
Don’t you feel for her?? I am sorry for her!
I can’t imagine how much bigger Gerty is going to get. Also, hope there really aren’t any wolves…the wind is bad enough!

No wolves … But there are coyotes around here.
Thanks for reminding me spring will come. Poor Gerty, I wonder if her back and feet ache? 😉
I should probably check for swollen ankles!
Beautiful pictures!
Thanks! I enjoy it.
