I told Bernice, “Happy National Pig Day!”
What?? There is a National Pig Day?
Uhmm, yes. According to this wonderful blog: http://homesteadredhead.com/2014/03/01/national-pig-day/
Oh, well, in that case, let me say, “CHEESE!”
In honor of National Pig Day and the 1st day of March and the fact that we are supposed to have another big honkin’ winter storm tonight/tomorrow, I had to get some work done outside. Hunter and I picked up the debris from the previous storms and piled it to burn.
Do you know the easiest way to start a fire is with dryer lint? It lights so quickly, it will make you much more diligent about cleaning your dryer filter!
I hope you enjoy the first day of March … it is the month holding the first day of SPRING!
You need to run over to Celi’s blog and tell her it’s National Pig Day! LOVE THAT SMILE!!!

Oh shoot! I didn’t see this until today (Sunday). You are right…. but I think every day is Pig Day for Sheila!!
No offense to Bernice, but I just can’t get enough of those goats, especially the kids 🙂
Happy March 1st! May we both see warmer temperatures and melting snow very soon.
Once we have baby pigs … you may like their pics. But, goat kids are definitely adorable!
I have no doubt I’ll enjoy little piglet pictures 🙂
Bernice looks pleased to have her own day.
I think she was happy it was above freezing when I took the picture.
I loved that last photo of the baby goat trying to get some attention.
He loves attention!
