If robins could talk…

So, it is 24 degrees out and this completely goes against what I have been grousing about; but it’s my blog and I give myself permission to change my mind.

IT’S GORGEOUS OUTSIDE!

Seriously.  I was all prepared to grumble about doing chores in snow, yet again, but Mother Nature slapped me upside the head and said, “Look around!  This is God’s artwork … and you should enjoy it because it won’t be like this much longer.”

The robins reminded me of that as I imagined their conversation this morning.

"Rob, didn't I tell you it was too flippin' early to fly north?"

“Rob, didn’t I tell you it was too flippin’ early to fly north?”

"My idea was to fly north and for you to stay in the south, Ethel."

“My idea was to fly north and for you to stay in the south, Ethel.”

I don’t want to be Ethel.

Besides, who can be grouchy when greeted by these faces?

This is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad.
