April Showers

Yesterday's sunrise - no fooling! (4-1-14)

Yesterday’s sunrise – no fooling! (4-1-14)

This morning's lack-of-sun-rise. (4-2-14)

This morning’s lack-of-sun-rise. (4-2-14)

The sky cleared for me to do morning chores.  Thank you.

Yet, it is April … and the showers will bring May flowers:

Tulips!!Tulips!!

And, of course, May flowers will bring:

Sorry…had to do it.  😉

The pasture is also greening right up.

Bernice is looking more “piggy.”

She is due April 15th.

Pig-farmer will probably step into the limelight, again.

Pig-farmer loves his pigs.

I need to write a blog just about pig-farmer…

Stay tuned.

No rain up our direction yet, but it’s coming.

And it took me a minute to get the May Flowers joke. I’m a little tired and slow this morning 🙂

Can’t wait to see the baby piggies!!

Cold here. I hope we all get some nice balmy 70* days without the cold.

Beautiful photos!!! Love the Mayflower joke!!! Very envious of your green. We had a blizzard Monday into Tuesday, it dropped 11 1/2 inches, and snow again this morning. I will have to be contented with my little garden seedlings coming up in the house, they give me hope. We are off to southern Minnesota this weekend to see our daughter, son-in-law, and granddaughter, we are expecting another grandchild any day now. Maybe it will happen when we are there! Take care, keep the awesome pictures coming!!

    • I heard about your snow! Oh. My. You’ll have to start a blog so I can see pictures. 🙂 Seedlings are a good idea. I haven’t figured out a way to keep my cats out of them…so I wait until I can plant straight into the ground.
Good luck with that grandbaby!! FUN!

Gorgeous sunrise photo! I hadn’t gotten in the mood to be out in the yard to do any planting, cleaning up, etc…until a few minutes ago. Now I’m ready!
