A little King of the Hill Hump for this sunny, warm Wednesday.
I planted 24 hills of pumpkins this morning.
Pumpkins do best in well-drained soil; thus the hills.
The ground is a little cloddy, but considering it was just worked up sod, it looks pretty good!
But I got hot and hungry.
Plus, it’s still early for pumpkin-planting.
So, I made a blueberry, strawberry, Greek yogurt smoothie.
The darn ice cream kept trying to escape the freezer to jump in my blender!
So far, I have kept it at bay.
My last gardening day (Saturday), I ate one two bowls of ice cream.
Because I was hot.
Happy Hump Day, friends!
It must be so much fun to have goats….
They make me smile & laugh every day. Some days … they don’t even make me cuss. 😉 Good fencing helps with that!
I love the iris on your header. Beautiful.
They have been just gorgeous this year!
Your new iris header is a beauty. You’ve got to watch that ice cream — can’t trust it. Periodically, I have to leave it in the store because it jumps out of the freezer onto my waist.
I LOVE ice cream, especially in summer. I say I am buying it for the boys …. Don’t you hate when it jumps right onto your waist!?
It does look like they’re playing King of the Hill. I’ll come take care of that unruly ice cream for you.
Somebody needs to! 😉
