Rainy morning

The rain was rumbling.

Oh, how I wanted to stay in bed,

just to listen.

Since I don’t “work,” I should be able to do that, right?

The animals disagree.

This is how my camera caught the rain pouring off the roof, as I stood under the front porch.

After the rain, everything looks so green.  Even the grass … in the garden.

Ignore it.  I am.  For today, anyway.

I tried to spy on the goats as they planned what to do this rainy morning.

We could do some stretches.

We could do some stretches.

Or Mom could give me a piggy (goaty?) - back ride.

Or Mom could give me a piggy (goaty?) – back ride.

Or we could harass our human for some Cheerios!

Or we could harass our human for some Cheerios!

Or just hang out, looking pitiful.

Or just hang out, looking pitiful.

For today, ignore something pesky.

Unless it is goats.  They don’t like to be ignored.

I love your barn. Yet you are right…no resting if you live on a farm.

You do work. You work hard. Maybe you don’t get a weekly paycheck for the work you do, but it’s work none-the-less.

And goats, just like children, demand lots of attention 🙂

  3. Today I will ignore the pesky dust on my furniture! lol

Your goats are looking so clean and chunky. And obviously full of mischief.
