Rainy! The owl is guarding the pumpkin patch through the showers. Through some undetermined hard-ship he suffered, he has a stiff neck. His head is not spinning with the wind. It is driving Pig-farmer crazy. Why do I have the feeling Pig-farmer will be buying me an owl with a loosey-goosey neck for my birthday?
I am not getting my gourds planted. 😦 Ah, well… there is still some time.
My flowers are enjoying the rain.
The pigs, you ask? Growing! We sold four as feeders and continue to feed eight ourselves. Wow … are they eating a lot. And, since what goes in must come out; they are also making chores unpleasant.
Blech. But still, gross chores are better than if they hadn’t survived and thrived. I think. Most days.
They are still cute.
And funny. Hams, you might say! (Bwaahahahaha!)
Enjoy this day – rain or shine. Smelly or not. Bad joke and all.
Why is it we either get no rain or too much rain? Or at least it appears to be that way to me.
I was hoping to plant some zucchini this year. Guess I should check and see if it’s too late now.
Enjoy the rest of your cloudy, rainy, mucky day.
You, too! Good luck with the zucchini – if not, I bet you can find someone trying to give theirs away. 🙂
Rain is supposed to come in here this evening. The hay is up so it can rain now.

Hopefully some rain would mean some rest for you and Terry?
We keep missing the rain. Now we are waiting…..again…..it is dark. Very dark. I wish we had some of your rain. I am tired of watering the plants outside. 🙂 Piggies are very cute, btw.
The piggies thank you. I am trying not to complain about the rain … because, as you know, once it leaves sometimes it doesn’t want to come back!
Send us a little rain! (love your flowers; they’re gorgeous!)
Maybe the rain will make its way east. It has really lingered here – strange for this time of year.
What are those yellow flowers? I like ’em. The LAST thing I would want for my birthday is a loosey-goosey necked fake owl. Do those things even work? Mr. Beekeeper across the street has one but I’ve never checked it’s neck.
I thought the yellow flower was a type of coreopsis; but now I am not so sure…. 😦
The owl seems to help scare other birds away; but it is best to move him around from time-to-time.
They’re awfully cute. Glad we don’t have scratch and sniff for this post.
HA! What a thought….
