I’m not making a to-do list.

I am behind with blogging.  And cleaning.  And laundry.  And exercising.  And about anything else I could put on my to-do list, if I were making a to-do list.

I don’t really care.  I’m not making a to-do list.  I’m busy living life.

Except about the blogging.  I do care about the blogging.

I also care about living a life where I find a way to enjoy something about each day.  Doing something each day that maybe I couldn’t find time or energy to do when I was working full-time.

Last week I got to have a couple of really nice lunches.  Slower lunches, where I didn’t have to hurry away.  I thought you would understand.

Oh and the roofing crew arrived and rattled the house doing horribly hard, hot work. I tried to stay in the house as much as possible so I wasn’t in their way.

Then, we were smack-dab into the weekend.  All four kids and the granddaughter were in and out at one time or another.

Now, boom!  It is Tuesday afternoon, but it keeps feeling like Monday, but at least it’s not.

It probably feels like Monday, not only because of Labor Day being yesterday, but because I had to go to the dentist to have my crown cleaned and re-sealed.  I thought they said my crown needed a diamond, so that’s what I told Pig-Farmer.  Turned out, that wasn’t in the plan.  But, it might seem like it in the bill.

I caught these suspicious-acting characters in the barn last week.  What do you think they were discussing?

As always, I love your captions. I also love not having a full-time job (or even a part-time one, for that matter), and I’m looking forward to a long, leisurely lunch with friends tomorrow. Good luck with the crown — dislike ANY dental appointment!

  2. Oh you make me laugh! If it makes you feel any better, I am behind on everything too! Ugh!

I don’t blame you, I gave up the to-do list, too. Now I just write down things I don’t want to forget! Cute photos and captions, especially the last one. Reminds me of a bunny at the botanical garden. I couldn’t get a shot of its eye because it was hidden behind a ribbon of foliage.

Those made me giggle! Especially the last pic. 🙂 I understand the feeling behind business. With a few days out here and there I am behind on most everything and trying to catch up unsuccessfully. But you know what? It will all get done eventually. Enjoy those long lunches and good luck on the crown work. Not my favorite thing at all.

I’m so behind also….Makes me wonder if I can ever get caught back up!

I am behind on a lot of things, too. Sometimes, I let the blog slide so I can get other work done. It has become a community via the comments but its not like I have paying advertisers or a following of thousands (bwahahahahahahaha) so I don’t let it bother me. By the way, I tried out PicMonkey but I couldn’t find the talk bubbles like you used above.

    • The blog is much more fun than cleaning, laundry, etc…. PicMonkey – select the photo you want to edit, then along the left side of your screen, click on the butterfly. You can then scroll down to find arrows, bubbles, etc. Good luck and have fun!

I’m way behind on everything as well. Except the laundry. Somehow I managed to get it all done yesterday. By tomorrow I’ll be behind again though 🙂

    Love your talking animals!!!
