With the holidaze I haven’t hardly been able to keep track of what day it is. Church yesterday morning and the return of Downton Abbey last night may help me get back on track. While vegging on the couch, listening to the wind howl across the Illinois prairie, I played with PicMonkey once again.
Wishing you a happy 1st Monday of 2015!
I spent from Christmas to New Years watching old episodes of Friday Night Lights with my teenaged kids–I got sucked right in. All of my grand plans went out the window! Happy New Year.
That is wonderful! 😉
That one pig in the row was giving you the stink eye. I’m sure of it. What was in those jars on the banister. You gotta wonder how many people were glued to Downton Abbey last night.
Yes, I WAS getting stink eye!
The jars have a solar light in the lid and I put decorative glass stones in the bottom. We haven’t had enough sun lately for them to come on much.
Downton Abbey is a great way to spend Sunday evening.
How is the sun going to get to the solar panel with all that snow on the lid?
Exactly my thoughts. Winter blues….
You poor thing. I hate that you have the winter blues.
oh no, I missed the start of Downton Abbey! Great photos.
Last season, they showed last week’s episode before the new one …. hopefully they will do that next Sunday so you will be caught up!
Thanks for stopping by.
I have no TV, but one day i am going to rent Downtown Abbey and watch it on the video player, that i don’t have either, but I will one day. I know what you mean about pics of sleeping pigs, the MOMENT they know you are in the barn UP they leap! Not Sheila though of course.. she might open an eye!.. c
I’m not 100% sure, but if you look up Downton Abbey on PBS website, you might be able to watch it from there on your computer. We got rid of cable tv and do not miss it. Sheila … is special!
I’ve been having Sunday every since Christmas. I will be so glad to get myself back into a nice routine!!

So true!! It’s fun to break the routine … for awhile.
Fun captions for your great photos. That kitten is so darn cute!
She has stolen our hearts, for sure! Thanks for reading!
Cute piggy picture! (or is that “pigture”??) As always, the kitty is my favorite. Although the cow pictures bring back memories of my childhood across the highway from a dairy farm. Happy New Year! I always love your posts!
I love the pig-pun! Thanks for stopping by.
I love the pic of your pigs in the straw! I’ve been trying to get a photo of ours borrowed into the hay for weeks, but they hear me coming before I can get close enough for the shot and scurry out for breakfast. 🙂 I know they’ll be burrowed in good this morning. Our thermometer says the temperature is zero.
I woke up to -6 this morning and wind chill way below that. Good luck getting your picture!
