Sights from my kitchen deck this week:
(Sorry for the really grainy image. Maybe Santa will bring me a super zoom lens for Christmas!)
View from my drive to work:
Wondering what is around the bend this weekend? I hope it is beautiful for you!
What a beautiful buck in that field, but my favorite is the creek shot. You sure have a talent.
Thank you, Wendy! God has all the talent on that one. It’s the Kaskaskia River – it’s just really low right now. The timber on its right side is Mom’s; the field with the frost is, too.
Looks like a Midwestern Paradise! Have a beautiful Saturday.
You, too!
This is just great

Greg, I thought you would especially like that buck. 🙂
That sure is a heavy frost .. Love the last image
The frost almost looked like a light snow. Thank you for checking in.
Love this time of year! The air is so crisp and clean and the temps are just right.
Frosty crisp … not too cold, yet. Enjoy!
Thank you for the pictures. I always love them and enjoy them so much 😉 I rarely comment but I do enjoy them each time they come in my email!!! Thanks 😉
Kim, I appreciate your comment so much! It makes me happy that you enjoy a little part of my life.
Although I hate the time change, I love these pictures of the low afternoon sun. Thanks for sharing!
I don’t like the time change either. The shadows DO look like late afternoon, but it is actually early morning! Gorgeous time of day.
I wish we had a couple of donkeys!!! I love that last photo!

They are absolute characters! This morning when I left for work, he brayed and brayed. I rolled my window down to listen.
Happy’s getting a little heavy in the middle. Time for a diet.
Yeah … me, too. 😉
Driving down our road a couple of days ago I spotted a big buck lounging in our pasture, resting safely amid our herd of goats. Smart deer, I thought.
Quite smart. That would have made a great photo!
Great shots on your way to work, you photos tell a story. Always good to see Happy sharing the good news!
I love it when Happy visits the part of the pasture near the road. I think that he surely brings some smiles to those driving by.
