When I go out at 5:30 a.m. for a check, can’t find one, suffer a mild panic attack, then locate her snoozing under the hay feeder:
Her brother looked at me with charming eyes and said, “No worries, I will pose.”
“Wait a sec! Here’s my handsome profile.”
I heard Thumper talking to Bambi, “Awfully wobbly, ain’t ya?”
Sis decided to come out from hiding and bat her eyes at me.
With the good, always seems to come some bad. Gabby went in to labor the next day and successfully delivered twin boys. One, however, did not survive. The other is up and doing well. Thankful for that; sorely sad and disappointed about the other. After working and working and working with the one that didn’t make it, Gerty’s twins set themselves up to make me smile.
From the top … Don’t let lack of space stop you!
If you aren’t smiling yet, maybe this one will help:
Sigh…. that is the sound of my heart melting. Baby Boer goat kids are like 1/2 lop-ear bunny and 1/2 puppy.
Guess what? These two have now learned to jump! I will be taking lots of pics today and in the next post you will also meet Gabby’s little guy.
I hope you have a beautiful, laughter-filled weekend, friends.
Sweet, sweet sweet!!!
How many goats do you have now?
Two mama does and three babies (2 boys, 1 girl).
Sweet pictures. So sorry about one of Gabby’s little ones. I’m sure it’s heartbreaking. Look forward to more pics!
Regardless of what kind of a day I am having your posts and photos always make me smile. You truly have a gift Marla, and your adorable subjects don’t hurt either. 🙂
Jessica, that comment made my day … no weekend …. no week! Thank you so very much! Blessings to you.
Aren’t they just so cute – and it is miserable to lose one especially after a fight – but the survivors are full of joy. Hope your weekend is getting all the sun mine is! It is glorious out there.. c
A glorious weekend indeed!
Oh my, I think I have cuteness overload! Lucky you!
I have lost track of time sooooo many times this weekend just watching them!
Oh my .. They are too gorgeous. Give them a cuddle from me. Sorry to hear that you lost one
Thank you, Julie. The three have started playing. Life moves on.
OH! They are so darn CUTE!!!
I’m so sorry about the one you lost!
