Pig-Farmer received a call the other day. A local church annually produces a live Nativity scene for the public to drive through and visit. They need a donkey and wondered if Happy would oblige. We said, “Yes!” Now, we hope Happy cooperates. After all, he is what he is.
If you’re local, visit the First Church of the Nazarene’s live Nativity this weekend! Hopefully, Happy will bray you a song.
so cute!
Let’s hope he is cute this weekend. 😉
We live next to five donkeys. When we first moved here, they would terrify me with their loud spur of the moment braying! Lol! They are so cute.
It can be quite startling when they bray – even the squeaky intake of air, when you aren’t expecting it … and it is dark outside, can give you a shiver!
Yes! Now it’s just normal to me. Ha ha
OH How SWEET that is..Wish I could come see him!!! I am sure he knows he is going to be a perfect well I was going to say something ..ha ha ha but he will be perfect for sure. I love the live Nativity..wish there was one near me I am going to look. Meanwhile..take a picture of him in the show will you. Missed your posts and was thinking of you all today..Blessings from Northfield Mn…Merri
Good to hear from you, Merri! Nice to know you were thinking of us. I will be sure to post pictures! It’s supposed to be quite cold here this weekend – the first real cold snap.
Merciful heavens! Brave donkey handler. c
That’s what I am thinking, too. He’s a ham and loves attention, so hopefully he is a good boy.

I think I will be holding my breath!
I hope everyone is happy with Happy’s upcoming performance! I’m also a fan of live Nativity scenes. Wish we could come see Happy in his role.
Thank you and stay tuned!
Way to go Happy!
Uh, not so. Nope. (He didn’t cooperate!)
Oh….Mr. Not-Happy!
Can’t wait to hear how Happy ate the straw in the manger. 🙂
Uh, boyohboy … it didn’t go so well…
Bwahahahahaha, can’t wait to hear.
Nice! With luck he makes an ass of himself!
