Friday, September 4

Last night’s beautiful sun dropping behind an a-maize-ing field of corn:

After viewing pictures of the devastation in Iowa and northwestern Illinois caused by the derecho – we are so grateful for this crop!

Watching the early-morning sky shift and change like a kaleidoscope is also a time of gratefulness.

To wrap it up and put a bow on top, here’s a snapshot of our beautiful Lake Shelbyville. Now, isn’t that a peaceful place to enjoy a cup of coffee?

Happy Friday, my friends!
